Checklist Comments: Cloudy and 44-48 degrees with winds SW 4 mph. With Brookline Bird Club walk led by Dave Williams. Stops at Lot 1 ocean, main pans, Wardens, Hellcat dike and part of Dunes Loop. Also Stage Island trail to platform and Lot 7 ocean platform.

Western Kingbird 1 Seen in trees between Hellcat parking lot and Bill Forward Blind. Max McCarthy and party had just seen it and had good photos when our group arrived. We had brief looks before it finally landed in the open on a branch, long enough for the group to see. Lemony yellow belly, white throat and grayish olive back. White on tail when it flew.
