  • South Shore Century Run

    Meet at 6:00 am at the main parking area of Wompatuck State Park, Hingham. A medium-paced trip to key places on the South Shore to try to observe 100 species of migrants and residents while having fun. Note: This trip will likely go to The Trustees of Reservation Property at World’s End. Contact leader for

  • Parker River NWR on Bike

    Leave your car behind as we cycle the main refuge road looking and listening for spring migrants. Be ready to peddle by 6:30 a.m. Note that an entrance fee or pass is required. Restrooms available.

  • Spring Bird Walk Along the Charles River in Waltham

    Waltham - Charles River Shaws Supermarket 130 River Street, Waltham, MA, United States

    Cosponsored by Waltham Land Trust, BBC & Menotomy Bird Club and led by Emily Szczypek, member of all three organizations.  Migration is taking place so we could see Baltimore Orioles, Warbling Vireos, Warblers, Tree and or Rough-winged Swallows, and Osprey, as well as our resident Great Blue Herons, Red-tailed Hawks, and various song birds. Bring binoculars.

  • Dunback Meadow, Lexington

    Join us for an early May walk at Dunback Meadow. We will walk a few miles on mostly flat paths but they could be muddy. All sorts of possibilities at this fine birding location.
