Checklist Comments:    Menotomy Bird Club, Brookline Bird Club, Waltham Land Trust Stewards birding along Charles River from Shaw’s parking lot to Moody St and back. Gorgeous October day got up to 70 in Waltham in the shade! Fairly quiet bird wise. Two Blue Heron, pair of Mute Swans flying, Warblers too far away for me to identify, I got terrible photo, Chickadees, Downy Woodpeckers, Mallards, Blue Jays, Eastern Phoebe.

Mallard  16    The bulk of them were near McKenna Park.

Rock Pigeon (Feral Pigeon)  2    Fly over.

Mourning Dove  2

Great Blue Heron  2    I don’t know what caused the red spot it’s the only photo that has it?

Downy Woodpecker  3

Eastern Phoebe  1    On a tree branch at what I call the 1st overlook, the one closest to the Mary Early Bridge.

Blue Jay  3

Black-capped Chickadee  5

European Starling  1    Heard only near Landry Park.

House Sparrow  3    In a shrub close to Newton St.

new world warbler sp.  3    Too far away to identify but seen by some other people.
