Checklist Comments:    BBC walk, J. Forbes leader, everyone else was smart enough to stay dry.
Almost sunny to start then raining heavily on the way back down. Up to the peak, circled the summit and attempted to work my way back but ended up bushwhacking almost the entire way down, getting rather soaked in the process (more from the vegetation than the rain I think)
26 species
Mourning Dove  1
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker  2    Expected here. One calling and tapping halfway up, second tapping just below the summit
Downy Woodpecker (Eastern)  1
Eastern Wood-Pewee  3
Red-eyed Vireo  3
Blue Jay  2
Common Raven  1
Black-capped Chickadee  2

Hermit Thrush (faxoni/crymophilus)  4
American Robin  1
Cedar Waxwing  2
Red Crossbill (Northeastern or type 12)  3    Circled right over the peak from the north. Seem good for 12 although 1 more toop-y note in there. Audio confirmed by TS/poor photos
American Goldfinch  1
Chipping Sparrow  4
Song Sparrow (melodia/atlantica)  1
Ovenbird  4
