Despite the gloomy conditions, with occasional rain, the birds put on a good show for this morning’s BBC walk. Migrants included a Blue-headed Vireo, Yellow-rumped Warbler and at least 8 Hermit Thrushes. For many the highlight was the pair of Great Horned Owls, snuggling on the same branch in the dell. eBird checklist below.
