Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do. While you do not need to be a club member to attend, we hope you will join us. See the Field Trip FAQ for answers to general questions. Contact leaders for more details about specific trips.

Loading Field Trips / Events

Please join us on October 23 for our in person Fall Meeting. The evening begins with a social hour at 6:30. The program starts at 7:30 with announcements, a short presentation by our 2026 Hog Island Scholarship winners, and a talk by author Scott Weidensaul – “The Return of the Oystercatcher – Saving Birds to Save the Planet.”

This meeting is open to all and held at the Harvard Geological Lecture Hall at 24 Oxford Street in Cambridge. (This is next door to the Museum of Comparative Zoology.)

Concerned about parking? Don’t Be!! Starting at 5:30 PM there will be free parking for all at the Harvard Oxford Street Garage entered off Oxford Street across from Everett Street. Advance registration is required to enter the garage. We will send details about registration for parking well in advance.

While we hope that you will be able to join us in person there is a Zoom link for those who cannot make it into Cambridge.
