Sora 1 Responded to me mimicking a distant Virginia Rail poorly. Little Chauncy marsh where it goes under road in. On the way out heard several times again and seen in a quick pop up flight, body hanging from wings legs dangling in hop flight, darker than V Rail, short yellow bill. Will add recording.

Belle Isle Marsh and Vicinity
Led by DCR staff. We will search on foot up to one mile, on flat, easy terrain for snowy owls and other raptors, native sparrows, finches, waterfowl, and other birds.
