Checklist Comments:    A Brookline Bird Club walk in the woods led by Shilo McDonald. Sunny with some clouds. Slight breeze. 80 ºF. Lots of native plants like Jack in the Pulpit, Wild Strawberry, Spotted Touch-Me-Not, Cinnamon Fern, Eagle Fern, Mapleleaf Viburnum, and Arrowwood Viburnum. And lots of butterflies too, including Little Wood Satyr and Snowberry Clearwing.

Belle Isle is a fantastic birding destination in any season. All of the trails are flat and easy, with a slight elevation on the small hill going through the meadow.
