Join us on August 9th, 8-10 AM, for a walk along the trails in this eastern Middlesex County location, as we focus on the wildflowers that are blooming in the marshes and meadows.  This habitat supports a tremendous diversity of plants, many of which are in spectacular bloom in mid-summer.  In addition to the wildflowers, we will also examine some of the grasses and sedges that are so prominent in the marsh, and the floodplain forest. This walk is limited to 12 people, and preregistration is required.
For many years Ted Elliman worked as a botanist for Native Plant Trust (formerly known as the New England Wild Flower Society).  Now retired, he continues to teach botany and ecology classes for the Trust and many other conservation organizations and botanical gardens in New England.
