Upland Sandpiper  2    may have figured out why we have had issues locating this species recently; apparently nesting or spending their time on the southeast side of the NE/SW runway along the taxi way near fence line: last two encounters have been there

Walk among open fields where we are likely to see and hear bobolinks, Our early start increases the likelihood that we will hear the bobolinks’ burbling morning song. Be prepared for muddy trails, depending on recent rainfall. Trails are mostly flat.
