Greater White-fronted Goose  1    Continuing bird. Seen north of refuge entrance around 1pm.

American Black Duck  500    Estimate. Probably more.
Northern Pintail  10    Seen by one person at lot 6 from Stage Island dike.
Common Eider  15
Surf Scoter  3
White-winged Scoter  6
Black Scoter  1

Common Goldeneye  13
Hooded Merganser  3
Common Merganser  1
Red-breasted Merganser  6
Horned Grebe  8    4 at Lot 1 overlook and 4 at Emerson Rocks.
Red-necked Grebe  2    Lot 1 overlook.
Dovekie  1    Emerson Rocks. Fly out to sea then set down and could not relocate. Small alcid substantially smaller than Razorbills.
Razorbill  3    1 at Emerson Rocks and 2 at Lot 1.
Herring Gull  30
Great Black-backed Gull  3
Red-throated Loon  1    Lot 1 overlook
Common Loon  6
Turkey Vulture  1    Seen above tree line on mainland from Wardens.
Northern Harrier  1    North end of refuge. Multiple sightings but believe only one bird involved.
Bald Eagle  4    Three immature and one adult.
Rough-legged Hawk  1    New pines overlook south into marsh. Lighter bird. Appears similar to photos from recent observations.
Snowy Owl  2    One in marsh south of New Pines near Grape Island area.  Second seen by one person at Sandy Point back lot.
Downy Woodpecker  2
Northern Shrike  1    Just north of Cross Farm Hill.
American Crow  6
Common Raven  1    Seen by one person from New Pines lot.
Black-capped Chickadee  1
Horned Lark  2
Golden-crowned Kinglet  1
Northern Mockingbird  2

Song Sparrow  2
Yellow-rumped Warbler  10    Regular this winter. Minimum count. At New Pines.
