American Redstart 6 Last year we had one or two nesting pairs in the Vernal Pool / Hartwell Tavern area. This year as many as four if they stay. One very obviously on territory by repeated loud calls in same spot as nesting pair last year. Pair seen together on Battle Road. Two more males calling from brush near lot.
