Lowell Cemetery, Middlesex, Massachusetts, US
May 10, 2018 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Protocol: Traveling
1.0 mile(s)
Comments:     I led a walk co-sponsored by the Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust and Brookline Bird Club for 14 participants along the Concord River Greenway and the western side of Lowell Cemetery on a cool, overcast morning. There was a lot of activity, especially early, from nesting species like Baltimore Oriole (carrying nest material) and Yellow Warbler (many singing males). By 8:30 the maintenance crews were out in the cemetery making it difficult to hear birds singing but most participants got good looks at many species.
