Checklist Comments:    Sunny.  52F at start. 64F at end.  Over all calm with a few nice sightings.  Sandy and Rita led this walk for the Boxborough Birders and the Brookline Bird Club.

Northern Harrier  1    At the end of the walk while reviewing the species totals, Ed scanned the western horizon and spotted this species.  Stunning view even though distant and white rump very prominent.

Pileated Woodpecker  1    Finally let out a few calls and graced some of us with a fly-over at the end of the walk.

Olive-sided Flycatcher  1    Ed found this species towards the end of the walk near the Alcott House on the top of a tall dead tree.  Excellent sighting!

Blue Jay  18    Conservative count.

Common Raven  2    Pair flew over at the beginning of the walk headed west.

Tufted Titmouse  1    Heard towards the end of the walk…with chickadees.
