Checklist Comments:    Average temp low 60Fs; heavy fog lifted after 9AM however low, dense overcast until end of walk.  Eight of us (then 7) covered the open areas of the campus including the meadows taking the shortest orange trail loop from New Meadow back to the main campus.  All wore masks the entire, socially distanced walk.  Did not see many of the usual species, especially raptors most likely due to the weather and visibility issues.  More sparrows than counted based on brief glimpses of activitiy and calls that could not be identified with certainty at New Meadow.

woodpecker sp.  1    Possibly a yellow-bellied sapsucker near the farmhouse, however, seen only by two and neither could be certain of the species.  One was seen in this area in past years.

Scarlet Tanager  1    On tree top between New Meadow and boardwalk on trail near woods entrance.  Female and good sighting.
