We will look for wintering birds including raptors and may travel to nearby areas in Waltham, Lexington and Belmont depending on recent reports. Expect to walk about 3 miles on trails.
The middle of winter is often a good time for hawks, owls and waterfowl. We may visit Salisbbury Beach, Parker River, areas along the Merrimac River, or other locations depending on recent sightings. In case of weather problems, please check with leader by February 18 at the latest.
