Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do.   • Charles River Esplanade

    We will walk along the Charles River Esplanade from the Longfellow Bridge upriver looking for birds on both land and water.     Stow - Delany WMA Boat Launch 353 Harvard Road, Stow, MA, United States

    We will spend the morning walking 3-4 miles through fields, forests and wetlands looking for post-nesting birds and migrants. Contact leader the night before in case of rain prediction. No restrooms are available. Bring sunscreen and insect repellent. Be prepared for poison ivy.

    Discover a Weston hot-spot featuring a Great Blue Heron rookery accessible by public transportation. We will look for lingering winter birds, early spring arrivals, and year round residents establishing breeding territories. We will walk up to 3-4 miles around the pond and through the adjacent Sears Land, bike path and solar farms.
