Franklin Park Community Science Video
This past August the BBC cosponsored a trip to Scarboro Pond in Franklin Park with Zoo New England. We were joined on the walk by journalist Shannon Rose Geary who is a correspondent with the Civic Science Media Lab and news collective. This was Shannon’s first time birding and she is a convert! You can tell how excited she is by watching the YouTube short video she produced.

The Brookline Bird Club (BBC) recorded 275 species for 2023, based upon 200 trips reported from Massachusetts, and those from out of state. We recorded 267 species in Massachusetts, three more than 2022, with 8
