We have arranged a private charter with 7 Seas for a half day pelagic trip on October 24 out of Gloucester harbor. This trip will be dedicated to searching for pelagic seabirds in offshore waters although we may also see
Fresh Pond, Cambridge (Rescheduled from Sunday 10/12 to Saturday 10/11)
A two mile walk on (mostly) paved paths around the pond. In addition to the “usual suspects”, we are likely to see some of the fall warblers, plus possibly a few of the Weird Ducks that have started to arrive.
October Big Day Afternoon Stop at Arlington Reservoir
A mid-late afternoon stop at Arlington Reservoir and adjacent Lexington Community Farm. We'll hope to add some shorebirds, raptors, and interesting sparrows to our Big Day lists.
