Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do. We will spend the morning walking 3-4 miles through fields, forests and wetlands looking for post-nesting birds and early migrants. No restrooms are available. Bring sunscreen and insect repellent. Be prepared for poison ivy. Rain cancels.
Stops may include Belle Isle Marsh, The Key, Revere Beach, and Winthrop. Please be prepared for mosquitoes at our first two stops.

Explore Parker River National Wildlife Refuge from a new perspective on a cruise through the Parker River marshes! Join us on the Yankee Clipper docked in Newburyport Harbor for a leisurely cruise through the Refuge. Enjoy close views of shorebirds, gulls, terns, and Saltmarsh Sparrows on this tour. The BBC has reserved a limited block of discounted group tickets on these public tours. These tours are open to all. Register online at brooklinebirdclub.org (find link in calendar entry) by July 8th. Co-sponsored with the South Shore Bird club. Generally the parking for multiple hours that you need is not near the town wharf.
Join us for a pleasant evening of watching nighthawk migration along the Nashua River valley. Bring a lawn chair or a camp stool. Rain date: Sunday August 30.
Beginners and those with limited mobility welcome. There is an entrance fee for Parker River NWR.
