Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do.     From the playground, we will walk a short distance to an open area where we can observe 2 fields for Woodcock. Sunset is around 6:30 pm so bring a camp chair and relax for the Woodcock flight.

  • Milton Landing & Neponset River Greenway

    Boston - Milton Landing and Neponset River Greenway 88 Wharf Street, Milton, MA, United States

    Enjoy an approximately 2-mile walk along the Neponset River Greenway bike path from Milton to Dorchester. We will start at Milton's Landing and stay for at least 20 minutes to see waterfowl and gulls. Then we will walk along the Neponset River Greenway--let's see if we can find any black-crowned night herons and other species.

    We will focus on spring migrants that use the water of the Concord River and the trees of the Lowell Cemetery as they make their way to their northern breeding grounds.
