Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do. Plymouth Airport for grassland sparrows
With permission from the airport manager, we will be allowed to go inside the second fence line onto the airport, closed to the general public, in search of the grassland birds which nest at the airport. Part of our Bring Back Boblinks conservation series. Search for Boblinks as part of our 2026 conservation series. Note noon meeting time. Bring water, a hat, sunscreen, and insect repelent. Trails are mostly flat and can be muddy depending on recent weather.
