Join us for the traditional BBC early spring walk at Crooked Pond--Bald Hill Reservation, for Winter Wren, Brown Creeper, and early spring migrants like Louisiana Waterthrush.. The trail is generally flat, muddy, and possibly icy. Dress warmly; walking sticks helpful.

This is an easy walk on level paths in search of early spring birds. Rain cancels the walk. Note that entrance fee or pass is required.

Woodcocks of Rock Meadow

Belmont - Rock Meadow 300 Mill St, Belmont

Come enjoy the warming evenings at scenic Rock Meadow, which each year plays host to courting American Woodcocks, with the males engaging in their spiraling sky-dance flights above the fields.

BBC field trips are open to all participants. Unless otherwise stated, all trips are free to attend and do not need preregistration. You do not need to be a club member to attend, though we hope you will join.
