Evening Walk at Minute Man NHP, Lincoln.

Pine Hill Road Grassland

In June, this wonderfully preserved grassland is alive with the songs of breeding Grasshopper and Vesper Sparrow, which are state listed as threatened species. Ricci Field Conservation Land, Lincoln MA

This is often a great place for fall sparrows including Savannah, Field, White-crowned and Lincoln's as well as other migrants. This will be a two-mile walk. A scope may be helpful if you are comfortable carrying one, but no sharing of optics with non-family participants.

A peaceful winter walk in Mount Auburn is always a pleasure and you never know what you might see. Sapsuckers and Red-breasted Nuthatches are regulars.

BBC field trips are open to all participants. Unless otherwise stated, all trips are free to attend and do not need preregistration. You do not need to be a club member to attend, though we hope you will join.
