Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do. Enjoy an approximately 2-mile walk along the Neponset River Greenway on an accessible boardwalk and bike path. Let's see what we can find: Yellow-rumped Warblers, woodpeckers, and other species. Beginners and BIPOC encouraged as well as more experienced birders. Loaner binoculars available. Co-sponsored with Boston Walking City Trail.

Due to weather conditions expected, we are rescheduling this trip until Thursday May 29.
Our target birds will be late migrants including Mourning Warbler and flycatchers. Be prepared to walk three to five miles. Cosponsored with Menotomy Bird Club. As of midday on Friday 5/22 some trails were flooded and many were quite muddy. The trip will go ahead with an abbreviated route. Boots strongly recommended.

We will walk a 2 mile loop through fallow fields and some wooded areas. Trails are gravel, fairly level and usually dry. This is a great spring migration spot for warblers.
