    Topsfield - Ipswich River MAS Sanctuary 87 Perkins Row, Topsfield, MA, United States

    We will walk 3 to 4 miles on slightly hilly trails to check out resident species in the Sanctuary’s woodlands, wetlands and fields. We will look for resident warblers, Eastern Bluebirds, up to five species of woodpeckers, vireos, Baltimore Orioles, and Rose-breasted Grosbeaks.     Discover a Weston hot-spot featuring a Great Blue Heron rookery accessible by public transportation. The walk offers excellent chances for spring migrants, raptors, nesting Eastern Bluebirds and various waterfowl. Beginners welcome. Leader will pre-walk the route to scout for arriving species each session.
