Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do. Franklin Park – Scarboro Pond

Boston - Franklin Park & Scarboro Pond Roxbury

We will look for late fall migrants and new winter arrivals in Franklin Park. Beginners welcome and encouraged. Expect to walk up to 2 miles on paved paths. Loaner binoculars available. Co-sponsored with the Franklin Park Coalition and Franklin Park Tennis Association.

Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge

Mount Auburn Cemetery 536 Mt Auburn St, Cambridge

Late Fall is often a time of year for fall lingerers, winter arrivals and often a surprise or two. Join us for an approximately 2 mile walk around Mt. Auburn over rolling terrain. Restrooms available

The Lakes of Wakefield and Lynnfield

Wakefield - Lakeside Inn Hotel 595 North Ave, Wakefield

We will visit several different lakes and ponds in Wakefield and Lynnfield primarily looking for waterfowl. There will be some walking.

New Hampshire Coast

We will look for winter ducks, alcids, and gulls plus other late fall migrants. Contact leader for details.  NOTE NEW MEETING PLACE.

We follow all policies of field trip location property owners and co-sponsoring organizations. Some participants may choose to wear a face mask for health purposes. We support their right to do so.
