Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do. While you do not need to be a club member to attend, we hope you will join us. See the Field Trip FAQ for answers to general questions. Contact leaders for more details about specific trips.

Manomet Bird Walk and Banding Demo

We will walk the farm road and the mowed paths along the wood edge looking for migrants. After birding for an hour or so, we’ll walk up together to meet the banders at Manomet Headquarters. And we can view banded birds and watch a release, discuss molt and plumage on a variety of species, and learn about Manomet and the work they do for bird conservation. After the demonstration, participants will have a chance to bird the ocean bluff and garden.
