Join fellow birders in their 20s-30s as we visit the Fenway Victory Gardens! Located in the Fenway neighborhood, the historic victory gardens offer an up-close and personal opportunity to search for resident birds and migratory warblers among the community gardening plots. Despite the urban setting, you’d be surprised at what you can find here!
Expect to walk approximately 2 miles on level paved/dirt paths. We may encounter some mud near the community garden plots. Bring binoculars if you have them; loaners are available on request (please email the trip leader).
This trip is specifically dedicated to those aged 20-39 years. Please do not bring children.
Meet at the flagpole inside the garden (near the intersection of Boylston St and Park Dr). If you have any concerns, feel free to contact the trip leader. Meeting location coordinates: 42.34533, -71.09386.
Metered parking is very limited to Boylston Street or Fenway. Public transit is the preferred method of transportation. There are numerous options to get close to the park by using the T via the green line branches or buses.
