Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do. In the fall water levels are lowered creating good conditions for ducks and shorebirds. We will also visit the adjacent Lexington community farm. Birds are found feasting on the remains of the crops planted there. We will walk about a mile on wide paths and some uneven ground (possibly muddy). Note that the reservoir area
On the Sunday after Amar Ayyash speaks ( Friday November 7), we are going to have the first of our gull focused walks where we work on gull ID skills at Revere Beach. We'll focus on gulls that are there to improve on our most common gulls of all ages. We'll also try to spot

We are adding a trip to Revere Beach where a lot of gulls are present due to winter storms throwing up or exposing clams on the beach for them to eat. Large number of gulls including possibly rare gulls are there. We'll do our best to sort through the gulls for rare ones and to

We will be seabirding and looking for waterfowl as we work our way down the coast, driving from spot to spot with little walking. Your scope will be handy.
