With the extreme heat conditions the leader has decided to walk Gate 10 until 9:00 am and then turn back to the cars.  This section of the walk is under trees and is much more comfortable than the trip back out of the Quabbin.  Back at the cars we can decide to go to Quabbin Park and/or Lake Wallace.  The trip will end no later than noon.

Join Glenn on this walk through a very birdy area with species ranging from Broad-winged Hawk to Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Blue-headed Vireo, Chestnut-sided Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, Baltimore Oriole, and lots of stuff in between.
