Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do. It is time for the southbound migration of sparrows! Join this webinar to learn field marks, shapes, and sounds of these fascinating birds of our fields and forests. A two mile walk on (mostly) paved paths around the pond. In addition to the “usual suspects”, we are likely to see some of the fall warblers, plus possibly a few of the Weird Ducks that have started to arrive.
On October 9 at 7PM Glenn d'Entremont will offer a members only sparrow identification webinar followed by a special members only sparrow ID field trip on the morning of October 11. The field trip is limited to 25 persons for practical reasons and to people who have also attended the webinar or a past webinar
