Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do. While you do not need to be a club member to attend, we hope you will join us. See the Field Trip FAQ for answers to general questions. Contact leaders for more details about specific trips.

CANCELLED – Early Spring Birding at Squantum Point Park

DUE TO EXPECTED POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS TRIP HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

We will explore the amazing Squantum Point Park in Quincy for winter and early spring birds! Especially of interest will be remaining winter ducks such as Scoters, Long-Tailed Ducks, etc. Early spring migrants such as Eastern Phoebe will be of interest as well. This small park is a top eBird hotspot for a reason! There are several habitats rolled into one, so the bird diversity is quite high for such a small area. Dress warmly and bring binoculars! This walk will be jointly conducted by the Brookline Bird Club with Mass. Audubon’s Boston Nature Center.

The walk is free but we request you pre-register by emailing bnc@massaudubon.org and cc’ing neil.calabro1@mac.com.
