Join us to observe resident birds and winter migrants in a unique urban habitat that is a favorite for many bird species, including uncommon and rare birds. Birders of all levels will enjoy this walk. The trails are (generally) flat and easy to walk. Dress well for the conditions including the wind. If there is still ice and snow around, bring yaktrax or similar traction aids. If it is warmer, consider a water bottle, waterproof clothing, and a hat for protection from the sun.
This free walk is conducted jointly with Mass. Audubon Boston Nature Center and preregistration is required as walk sizes are limited. Please register by emailing cgeorge@massaudubon.org and copying neil.calabro1@mac.com. Mention in advance if you need loaner binoculars.
