Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do.   • Early Morning at Lynnfield Marsh

    Lynnfield Marsh 127 Summer Street, Lynnfield, MA, United States

    Approximately 1.5 mile walk along an old railbed and through forest to the marsh edge in search of American and Least Bittern, and other wetland species such as Virginia Rail, Sora, Marsh Wren, raptors, herons, egrets, and blackbirds. If time permits we may also walk the Partridge Island trail nearby. All skill levels welcome. Terrain

  • Plum Island PRNWR

    Parker River NWR - Lot #1 Refuge Rd., Newbury, MA, MA, United States

    Enjoy the late afternoon colors and birds at PRNWR at a slow and easy pace as we search refuge hotspots for shorebirds and waders, as well as tree swallows and other regular species. Short walks on flat trails. Insect repellents highly recommended. Entrance fee or pass is required. Restrooms available.
