Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do.   • Evening Walk at Minute Man NHP

    Minute Man NHP - Brooks Village Brooks Village, Concord, MA, United States

    This area is great for late migrants and nesting species. Baltimore Oriole, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, and Cedar Waxwing are regulars. Alder Flycatcher and Common Nighthawks are possible. This is a one-mile walk on paved paths and boardwalk. Insect repellent suggested.

    In June, this wonderfully preserved grassland is alive with the songs of breeding Grasshopper and Vesper Sparrow, which are state listed as endangered species. Prairie Warbler, Indigo Bunting, and American Kestrels nest regularly here as well. A mile walk on level grade; can be dry so bring water.
