Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do. Castle Island & Pleasure Bay

Join Mass. Audubon and the Brookline Bird Club to observe resident birds and fall migrants in a unique urban habitat that is a favorite for many bird species, including uncommon and rare birds. Target species include auks, brant, dunlin, eagles, egrets, falcons, hawks, herons, loons, mergansers, owls, oystercatchers, plovers, ravens & crows, sandpipers, sapsuckers, scaup, scoters, and yellowlegs. Birders of all levels will enjoy this walk. The trails are flat and easy to walk.
The walk is free but preregistration is required. Please preregister by emailing Correne George of Mass. Audubon at cgeorge@massaudubon.org and ccing neil.calabro1@mac.com. Registration is limited to 20 people. Be sure to wear a hat and waterproof footwear and pack water. A jacket and gloves are recommended.
