Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do.     Dartmouth - Allens Pond - Field Station Lot Horseneck Road, Westport, MA, United States

    We will be birding the Beach Loop, Quansett Trail, and Allen's Neck Trails of Allen's Pond Wildlife Sanctuary in search of late migrants in a mix of thickets, forest, ocean, field and marsh habitats.

    Join us on our annual New Year’s Day birding trip! We may also venture on to Cape Ann. In case of inclement weather check with leader by 3pm the day before the trip. Note that an entrance fee or pass is required to visit Parker River NWR.

    Lexington - Dunback Meadow Clark Middle School 17 Stedman Rd., Lexington, MA, United States

    Dunback's grassy meadows, marsh, and woods provide excellent habitat for many less common winter species. Possible species include Hermit Thrush, Golden-crowned and Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Purple Finch, Gray Catbird, Swamp Sparrow, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Barred Owl, Northern Shrike and Winter Wren.
