Unless otherwise stated, BBC field trips and webinars are open to all participants and are free to attend. Most field trips do not need preregistration though all webinars do. Cold Spring Park, Newton

Newton - Cold Spring Park 1200 Beacon St, Newton

This large multi-use city park offers an easy 1.4-mile loop through mixed forest, open green areas, and red maple swamplands, attracting a surprising array of resident and migratory birds. Porta Potties available.

Nahanton Park, Newton and other nearby locations

Newton - Nahanton Park 507 Winchester St, Newton

We will search for sparrows and other fall migrants at Nahanton Park and a possible other location to be determined nearer the date of the trip.

We follow all policies of field trip location property owners and co-sponsoring organizations. Some participants may choose to wear a face mask for health purposes. We support their right to do so.
