DESCRIPTION:It is time for the southbound migration of sparrows! Join this webinar to learn field marks\, shapes\, and sounds of these fascinating birds of our fields and forests. We will cover most of the sparrows with records in Massachusetts. \nThere will be an accompanying field trip for those interested (date is 10/13\, rain date 10/14. Limited to 25 participants\, location to be announced)\, but field trip attendance is not required to enjoy this exciting sparrows webinar. \nPresenter Bio: \nGlenn d’Entremont has been birding for a half century.  He participates in breeding bird surveys\, runs numerous BBC trips annually\, coordinates Christmas Bird Counts\, and keeps accurate records for data input into eBird.  Past president of the BBC\, Glenn is currently a BBC board member. \nRegister for the webinar here. \nIf interested in the accompanying field trip on 10/13\, register here.

DESCRIPTION:Program Description:\nJoin the Brookline Bird Club for a virtual pelagic trip!  In this webinar we will cover all the best offshore locations in Massachusetts\, including the opportunities for seeing pelagic birds on whale watches.  There will be identification tips\, and an overview of common birds that can be expected offshore\, as well a couple of rarities.
