SUMMARY:Roslindale Wetlands Urban Park
DESCRIPTION:A small but mighty urban wild that offers a variety of habitat. Expect to see a variety of woodpeckers\, resident birds\, warblers\, and other migratory species\, as well as a surprise or two. The path is flat with a mix of gravel and dirt surfaces with newly added boardwalks on the wetter sections. Boots are strongly advised. A visit to nearby Peter’s Hill in the Arboretum is an option afterwards if others feel inclined.

DESCRIPTION:Join us to observe resident birds and spring migrants in a unique urban habitat that is a favorite for many bird species\, including uncommon and rare flycatchers\, swallows & warblers. Birders of all levels will enjoy this walk. The trails are (generally) flat and easy to walk\, though there are some rough patches. A water bottle\, sunblock\, insect repellent\, waterproof clothing\, and a hat are recommended\nThe walk is free but preregistration is required as the walk sizes are limited. Bring binoculars. Families are encouraged to attend!\n\n\nNo dogs please. Dogs often scare away birds\, so they are not allowed on this walk. We will cancel for rain\, but the forecast looks good right now!
