DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a walk at scenic Rock Meadow and Beaver Brook North\, home of open fields\, wetlands\, ample woods and edge habitat\, and public gardens which attract a wide variety of migrating warblers\, vireos\, and buntings. Hiking is relatively easy\, and should be a bit under two miles total at most\, if we venture further into Beaver Brook North Note that there are no public rest rooms\, but a portapotty may be available.

SUMMARY:Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary
DESCRIPTION:We will walk 3 to 4 miles on slightly hilly trails to check out resident species in the Sanctuary’s woodlands\, wetlands and fields. We will look for resident warblers\, Eastern Bluebirds\, up to five species of woodpeckers\, vireos\, Baltimore Orioles\, and Rose-breasted Grosbeaks. We will also spend time listening and scanning the marsh for Wood Duck\, Glossy Ibis\, Marsh Wren\, Virginia Rail\, and Sora\, with owls and woodcock possible late in the day. \nNote that a fee may be required for those who are not members of Mass Audubon.
