DESCRIPTION:Join us to observe resident birds and spring migrants in a unique urban habitat that is a favorite for many bird species\, including uncommon and rare flycatchers\, swallows & warblers. Birders of all levels welcome. The trails are generally flat and easy to walk\, with some rough patches. A water bottle\, sunblock\, insect repellent\, waterproof clothing\, and a hat are recommended.\nPre-registration is required as walk sizes are limited. SUMMARY:Roslindale Wetlands Urban Park
DESCRIPTION:A small but mighty urban wild that offers a variety of habitat. Expect to see a variety of woodpeckers\, resident birds\, warblers\, and other migratory species\, as well as a surprise or two. The path is flat with a mix of gravel and dirt surfaces with newly added boardwalks on the wetter sections. Boots are strongly advised. A visit to nearby Peter’s Hill in the Arboretum is an option afterwards if others feel inclined.
