DESCRIPTION:Join us to observe resident birds and spring migrants in a unique urban habitat that is a favorite for many bird species\, including uncommon and rare birds. Birders of all levels will enjoy this walk The trails are flat and easy to walk. Be sure to wear a hat and waterproof footwear and pack water. Insect repellent and sunblock are recommended.\nThe walk is free but preregistration is required. Please preregister by emailing cgeorge@massaudubon.org and copying neil.calabro1@mac.com. Registration is limited to 30 people. \nPlease read the “Meeting Place Description” carefully because it is a big park.

SUMMARY:Black Birders Week Field Trip! Neponset River Greenway
DESCRIPTION:Everyone is welcome! Come celebrate Black Birders Week with us on an approximately 2-mile walk along the Neponset River Greenway. This is an accessible boardwalk and bike path (slightly hilly at the beginning of the walk). Let’s help each other find beautiful birds together! Beginners and BIPOC encouraged as well as more experienced birders. Loaner binoculars available. \nAfter the walk\, from 11:30 am – 1 pm\, there will be a light brunch provided by our cosponsor Give Black Alliance in Milton\, MA.
