We will explore the nooks and crannies of this small island hideaway in hopes of finding some avian gems who have taken refuge on their journey south. We have the opportunity to spend a day birding on Cuttyhunk Island specifically looking for fall migrants. We will take an early morning boat over fron New Bedford, and return late in the afternoon. There is a fee for the boat. All birding will be done by foot so wear your best walking shoes! Since there are no facilities on the island this time of year, plan to bring lunch, water and any other personal items you may need with you. Limited participation. Boat space is limited. Rain date: September 22.
